She strode down the hallway. Suit pressed and crisp, head held high, with her high heels clacking on the marble flooring of the courthouse. Her nerves were raw and frazzled but she vowed to keep them hidden. As she neared the courtroom door she found herself reciting quotes from law school. This was her first case to try on her own. Reaching for the door handle she reminded herself, "Preparation, knowledge and skill are required. Attitude is optional."
